My name is Marlene Segal and I am a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in geriatrics. Based In Johannesburg.
I noticed how many elderly people spend lots of hours alone, due to their family being too far to visit or in this busy world having no time to see their loved ones. Unfortunately, during this time of Covid 19 this has been made so much worse as regular visits, walks or shopping have all become a huge risk to the elderly so they have become more isolated than ever.
I would love to offer a solution to this problem.
Visiting to check on the medical, and psychological wellbeing, as well as spending some quality time with the person, lending an ear for a chat or discussing problems.
Visits can be arranged as many times a week as required, and may be done by a Registered Nurse, or if only requiring a social visit, my experienced, compassionate and caring staff whom have been trained by myself can see to these needs.
We would also be happy to provide transport to appointments, as well as shopping and even small handyman jobs in the home can be requested.
We take special care to follow our motto of showing kindness, compassion, and being devoted to your loved one. Treating everyone with the respect that they deserve.
Although all precautions are taken during the visit to keep yourself or relative safe from illness or injury due to the nature of the business dealing with elderly who are often frail no responsibility will be taken for injury or illness.
